The Digital Sunrise and Digital Sunset Throws are part of Cristian Zuzunaga’s exploration of pixels, colour, and urban landscapes. These luxurious blankets aim to capture the distinct energies of the day’s beginning and end through thoughtful design and high-quality materials.

Digital Sunrise conveys the yang energy of early mornings with vibrant colours like red, yellow, light blue, and green, contrasted with subtle black elements. In contrast, Digital Sunset captures the yin energy of twilight with cool, sensual tones of lilac, brown, and dark blue, accompanied by a striking use of black. Together, these throws form a conceptual balance, representing the daily journey from East to West.

Both throws are crafted in Spain from a blend of superfine Italian Merino wool and fine silk, combining wool’s comforting opacity with silk’s luminosity and softness. Produced using a knitted Jacquard technique, each piece requires careful handling of the differing tensions between the two materials, reflecting the intricate artistry behind each creation.

Available in a size of 140 x 185 cm, these throws are best maintained through dry cleaning. As part of the Bitmap Collection, they embody a pixel-inspired interpretation of cityscapes, translating moments of the day into a tactile, visual experience.
