Cristian Zuzunaga’s unique pixel designs and Imaginatio prints were exhibited as part of Color Patch, a trend exhibition held at Maison et Objet in Paris, January 2009.

Curated by Elizabeth Leriche, the exhibit was subtitled ‘Entering the era of shifting colour’ and communicated a confidence in the return of polychromatic approaches to interior design. She commented that for the world of design, “polychromy is a rising value,” convinced that seasons of minimalism and reduced colour are being radicalised by a return to explosive experiments in colour.

One room of the exhibit in Maison et Objet was dedicated to Cristian Zuzunaga, whose Imaginatio sofa and chairs (create in collaboration with Christophe Delcourt) caused a stir; visitors loved the combination of his detailed work on abstract and essence of images with its smart, playful use of bright colours.
