The Pixel Cushion collection, launched in 2010, was the first product line from Zuzunaga and remains an iconic part of the brand’s legacy. The prints in this collection are derived from zooming in on photographs of urban landscapes taken by Cristian Zuzunaga. While these cityscapes might appear grey at first glance, they actually consist of millions of colours that are invisible to the naked eye. By transforming these grey landscapes into vibrant, pixelated patterns, Zuzunaga challenges our perception of the environment, turning urban monotony into an explosion of colour.

Each cushion is unique, thanks to the large-scale pixel patterns, and they are crafted in collaboration with the renowned Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat. This long-standing partnership ensures that each piece combines modern digital aesthetics with traditional craftsmanship, producing cushions that are as timeless as they are contemporary.

The collection features six designs: Fire, Spirit, Sol, Luna, Mercury, and Venus.To date, more than 10,000 of these one-of-a-kind cushions have been sold worldwide, each reflecting the brand’s ethos of individuality, creativity, and innovation.
