The Origins of Your Notebook
Each of our Individuate Pixel A5 notebooks is born from the fabric of the Pixel Collection, Zuzunaga’s signature range of digitally-printed cushions. Launched in 2010 at the London Design Festival in collaboration with Danish textile brand Kvadrat, these cushions embody individuality—no two are the same. This is due to the large repeating patterns and the unique way each cushion is cut.
During production, small pieces of leftover fabric—between 12 and 30 cm—are usually discarded. At Zuzunaga, we decided to breathe new life into this unique material, repurposing it into beautifully crafted notebooks rather than letting it go to waste.
The leftover fabric is collected and sent to El Taller del Llibre in Terrassa, where each notebook is handmade. The process of binding these small books is intricate and time-consuming, requiring great precision, attention to detail, and patience. As a result, each notebook is entirely unique.
There are two paper stock options available: plain recycled 100gsm paper or colourful 80gsm Popset pages, allowing you to choose a notebook that suits your style and needs.
Waste Not, Want Not.
About Individuate
The Individuate project is dedicated to Graham Horwood and C.G. Jung. According to Jung, our consciousness relates to how we perceive reality: Sensation tells us something exists, Thinking explains what it is, Feeling helps us decide its value, and Intuition speculates on its origin and future.
Our notebooks are more than just tools—they are gifts of time and space. They provide an opportunity for inspiration, helping you reconnect with yourself and the world around you. Designed to encourage projection over introspection, they offer an oasis for your thoughts, dreams, and creative processes.
Whether for organising your ideas, sketching, or writing, our notebooks serve as companions for your inner journey, helping to shape your present reality.
