Repeated units exist throughout the physical world: bricks, tiles, windows, grids, marks, blocks and architectural elements. Observed, isolated or constructed, these elements reveal how larger structures emerge from simple parts.

Each unit remains distinct, yet its meaning changes through repetition, proximity and scale. What appears autonomous becomes part of a pattern, image or system.

Unit brings together works and observations across different media in which the relationship between the individual element and the larger field becomes visible.
